- Hyundai Motor America has named Steven Yandura vice president of national sales, effective June 24, the automaker announced in a press release.
- Yandura, who most recently served as VP, sales operations for Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis Motor America, will be responsible for the sales and distribution of Hyundai vehicles in the U.S., including retail strategy, dealer relations and market representation, as well as other initiatives to drive sales and boost market share, per the release.
- “Steven has delivered strong retail sales performance at Genesis, and his appointment supports Hyundai’s strategy to sustain record U.S. sales growth and increase market share,” said Randy Parker, president and CEO, Hyundai and Genesis Motor North America, in a statement.

In the new role, Yandura will oversee Hyundai’s seven U.S. sales regions and report directly to Hyundai Motor America COO Claudia Márquez.
Yandura is an automotive industry veteran with over 30 years of experience across sales, aftersales and brand management, per the release. While serving as VP, sales operations of Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis, the division sold more than 82,000 vehicles in the U.S. in 2025, its best-ever sales year.
Prior to joining Hyundai, Yandura served in various senior leadership roles at Stellantis, including serving as vice president of its Mopar U.S. parts unit and field operations, according to the release.

Yandura replaces Michael Orange, Hyundai’s former VP of national sales. Orange was poached by Stellantis in April to lead its U.S. sales and network performance, reporting to CEO Antonio Filosa. His tenure at Stellantis was effective April 22.
Yandura joins Hyundai after the automaker posted its fifth consecutive year of sales growth in the U.S. market. In 2025, Hyundai recorded the highest U.S. vehicle sales in its history, reaching over 772,000 units.
As gas prices spiked this year due to the Iran war, Hyundai’s hybrid vehicle sales jumped 90% year-over-year in the month of May, making it the best-ever U.S. sales month for hybrid vehicles in company history.
