After several starts and stops over land purchases, Toyota Motor Corp. announces that it will build a $200-million engine plant on a 150-acre site in Buffalo, WV. The operation eventually will employ 500 and supply the company's new truck assembly plant going up in Princeton, IN, near Evansville. Will we have to wait very long to hear John Denver singing Country Road ("almost heaven, West Virgnia") in a Toyota commercial?.
