PARIS – Renault adds a CUV to its global lineup with the premium D-segment second-generation Koleos.

It will be the third all-wheel-drive CUV model in Renault’s range and the French automaker hopes the ute will play a major role in a product offensive that has seen a record-breaking year with the introduction of 10 new vehicles across the world.

In a statement Renault says the Koleos is designed and engineered with global appeal to include China, where it opened a plant in Wuhan earlier this year.

The automaker promises the new CUV will rival large executive sedans in refinement, interior comfort and market-leading space for passengers while delivering all-terrain performance.

Renault Chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn revealed the new Koleos today at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.
