A review of the Porsche Cayenne in the April 2003 issue of WAW (see p.44) incorrectly stated the Cayenne's optional adjustable suspension relies on magnetorheologic dampers.

Engineers at ZF Sachs, the chassis-components division of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, had to set us straight: The Cayenne's optional suspension is ZF Sachs' Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system that employs electronically controlled, infinitely variable hydraulic dampers.

The CDC system, currently used on numerous production vehicles, is best-known by its “Skyhook” moniker.
