Jeep will expand its European market lineup to six models by 2030, including the next generation Renegade and a new midsize Recon SUV.
The announcement was made at the Paris Motor Show 2026 by the brand’s European chief, Xavier Peugeot, who is targeting a strengthened presence for Jeep, the company said in its Oct. 12 release.
The Renegade returns following its sales success in Europe since launching in 2014 with more than 610,000 units sold in the region.
Its return marks the brand’s new focus on Europe’s “evolving mobility needs,” the company said in a statement.
Jeep says the move reflects growing urban populations in European markets demanding more compact and sustainable vehicles to meet both city and rural mobility. Therefore, it will boost its product offering across the B-, C- and D-SUV segments.
Currently, the Jeep Avenger has a strong presence in the B-segment, with nearly 300,000 units sold since launch, while the new Compass reinforces the brand’s position in the C-segment.
The launch of a new Jeep Recon will see the brand return to the midsize D-segment and be followed by an additional new model in 2028.
Jeep will also stick to Stellantis’ “Freedom of Choice” strategy by offering vehicles in a range of powertrain options to meet different customer needs and preferences. All-wheel-drive models will be available across the brand’s entire lineup.
These plans are expected to give Jeep coverage of around 90% of the European SUV market by 2030, the company said.
“We confirm our 2030 roadmap, based on capable, compact and electrified vehicles, inspired by Jeep’s iconic DNA, such as Renegade, still providing freedom to go wherever life takes our customers,” Peugeot said in a statement.
