Japan Vehicle Sales Down 21.6 in June

• Japan vehicle sales totaled 351,828 units for June, down 21.6 vs. June 2010.
• June 2011 sales increased 48.2 % compared with May 2011, as the nation recovers from the earthquake.
• 2011 sales through June totaled 1,919,252, down 27.8% over like-2010.
• Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 493,623, resulting in a 25.7% market share.
