It's hard to get all technicians to view programs on satellite training, either the live broadcast or the taped version. Time doesn't allow for it!

For my technicians to receive information on satellite training in a timely manner, I have assigned one master technician the job of viewing the satellite training program each month and putting together a report on each item covered. We then cover each item at our end of the month shop meeting. Time is spent on each item with appropriate time allowed for questions.

The satellite training covers both current and completed fixes. This program has worked very well and allows all the service writers, service and body technicians and the parts personnel a chance to go through all the items without spending a large amount of time.
