CREWE, U.K. – As proof that premium brands flock together, Bentley has launched an Apple Watch app for its Bentayga luxury CUV.
Employing a bespoke digital architecture, the app allows drivers and passengers of the $229,100 luxury off-roader to remotely control the onboard climate and entertainment systems; adjust the heating, ventilation and massage functions of their seats; and monitor real-time information, such as vehicle speed, distance traveled and outside temperature.
Apple Watch wearers simply can synchronize with the vehicle’s Touchscreen Remote system through the car’s Bluetooth connectivity.
“The Bentayga is technologically advanced and combines this with luxury in a way only Bentley can achieve,” says Dan Whittaker, Bentley’s director-electrical and electronics. “This new Apple Watch connectivity is another example of how we are constantly innovating in order to enhance the customer experience.”
The app is available to download from Apple’s App Store.
