GM Mexico Launches OnStar Telematics Service for Fleets

The Fleet Complete platform is a tool that is designed to provide fleet managers with useful and relevant data on the use of their vehicles in real time.

OnStar Mexico, General Motors’ security and connectivity service, announces the launch of the Fleet Complete service, a new online platform enabling companies to manage vehicle fleets more effectively.

The platform is a tool that is designed to provide fleet managers with useful and relevant data on the use of their vehicles in real time. It will be marketed exclusively for vehicles of GM’s Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands through Chevrolet Fleet Services Dealers.

“The Fleet Complete solution complements the services that General Motors offers. It is an intuitive and easy-to-use fleet management tool designed for OnStar-equipped vehicles,” Priscilla Zozaya, OnStar's Strategy, Planning and Business Manager at GM de México, says in a news release.

“The platform provides, among other things, information on the location of the vehicle, maintenance, and diagnostics of the fleet.”

Adds Rafael Gozzi, vice president-Operational Efficiency for Fleet Complete Mexico: “Our partnership with GM has a proven track record in North America, and today we are very excited to offer the same solution to Mexican companies. This integration is already helping many companies reduce operating costs by better understanding what is happening to the vehicles in their fleet in real time.”

Fleet Complete provides fleet, asset and mobile workforce management solutions to about 600,000 subscribers and more than 40,000 businesses and government organizations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Australia and across Europe.

OnStar, a wholly owned subsidiary of GM Holdings LLC, provides security, safety and mobility connectivity solutions and advanced information technology and is available in 39 GM brand models worldwide.
