Big Screen, Bevy of Extras for 2024 Buick Envision

Buick boosts standard content on its Envision CUV and incorporates new-look front and rear fascias for the ’24 model year.

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – Buick updates its Envision for the ’24 model year, upgrading the midsize CUV with a basketful of standard content and a revised trim lineup as part of a mid-cycle refresh that goes on sale this summer.

The updates come on the heels of the Envision’s second-best sales year to date, notching more than 44,000 deliveries in 2023 in the U.S., per Wards Intelligence data. The China-built model was more fully redesigned for the ’21 model year and is slated to be discontinued in 2026.

For the ’24 model year, the Envision adds standard all-wheel drive with a disconnect to allow more-efficient front-drive-only operation along with a bevy of technology improvements. Chief among them is the standard 30-in. (76-cm) instrument cluster and infotainment screen, powered by Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play.

Also standard for ’24 are a head-up display, nine-speaker Bose audio, wireless phone charging, Wi-Fi hotspot capability and active noise cancellation.

Safety gets a major boost across the model lineup, including adaptive cruise control; intersection, front pedestrian and bicycle automatic emergency braking; rear cross-traffic braking; surround-view cameras; blindspot steering assistance and auto-dimming headlights.

The Envision’s front fascia adopts the brand’s “Pure” design language, with flush-mounted tri-shield badging and winged lighting and “checkmark-style” LED headlamps. The rear fascia takes on elements of the brand’s Wildcat EV styling.24MY Envision ST

For ’24, the Envision lineup retains the entry Preferred and premium Avenir trims but drops the mid-level Essence option in favor of a Sport Touring look (pictured, above). Preferred level is priced at $37,295, Sport Touring at $39,795 and Avenir (pictured, below) at $48,395. All prices include $1,395 destination and dealer prep fees.

The powertrain is carryover: a 228-hp, 258-lb.-ft. (350-Nm) 2.0L turbocharged 4-cyl. driving the wheels through a 9-speed automatic transmission, controlled by a column-mounted shifter replacing console buttons on previous models.
