DETROIT – Ford Motor Co. touts the Ford F-250 Super Chief concept, unveiled today at the North American International Auto Show here, as the “world’s first vehicle with Tri-Flex fueling,” allowing the monstrous pickup to run on hydrogen, E85 (85% ethanol/15% gasoline blend) or standard gasoline.

With a 6.8L SOHC V-10 under the hood, the Super Chief needs any economy-enhancing technology it can get. The idea is to showcase the truck of the future, which gives license to the light-emitting diode headlights and automated ottoman to pamper passengers.
