Ford says the U.S. EPA has certified range numbers for the 2021 Mustang Mach-E, and all variants of the battery-electric CUV have met the automaker’s targets.
The premium extended-range rear-wheel-drive Mustang Mach-E achieves an EPA-estimated range of 300 miles (483 km), while the extended-range all-wheel-drive model is rated at 270 miles (435 km).
The EPA estimates range of 230 miles (370 km) in the standard-range RWD Mach-E, while the standard-range AWD model is rated at 211 miles (340 km).
“This validation by the EPA comes at a perfect time as the Mustang Mach-E is gearing up to take on the open road,” Darren Palmer, Ford global director-battery electric vehicles, says in a news release.
The Mach-E California Route 1 Edition has a targeted EPA-estimated range of 300 miles, which will be confirmed once EPA tests are completed.
Mach-E deliveries to U.S. customers will start in December.
