A former Bradford PA, car dealer is prohibited from ever owning a dealership as part of his sentence for misappropriating more than $190,000 from his dealership.

Philip Bauschard of the now-defunct Bauschard Dodge, was also placed on probation for two years and fined $15,000.

Bauschard, 59, apologized and blamed “a series of unexpected financial obligations.” He has made restitution, according to the Associated Press. Prosecutors say he took the money by not paying off vehicles that were traded in, making payments on them instead. Some vehicles were double financed, others sold again without the trade-ins being paid off.
