Mazda’s Ads Matter

Two Mazda commercials sit atop the weekly Most Engaging Auto Ads ranking, powered for WardsAuto by iSpot.tv.

“Driving Matters: Passenger,” with a song by Patsy Cline, takes the No.1 spot, moving up from second place a week ago. A second Mazda commercial, “Carried Away,” is ranked No.2. Both feature voice-overs by actor Aaron Paul from TV’s “Breaking Bad.”

An Audi spot with an Iggy Pop soundtrack holds on to its No.3 position for a third straight week, a remarkable feat.

Meanwhile, two older commercials, boosted by thousands of airings, round out the Top 5 chart. At No.4: is a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid spot starring actor James Marsden, with 3,302 airings to date. The No. 5 spot is occupied by Acura, with a commercial featuring a voice-over by actor Michael B. Jordan, with 7,762 airings to date.
