Kia releases a teaser photo of its new midsize premium Cross GT concept vehicle that will make its global debut at the Chicago auto show Feb. 7.

A Kia spokesman says the Cross GT’s design, which is “inspired by nature, driven by technology,” hints at the future of Kia’s new design language in the form of a premium cross/ utility vehicle that is larger than the new ’14 Sorento.

The teaser photo reveals Kia’s “tiger nose,” a graceful coupe-like sloping roof, four doors and likely three rows of seats.

“We’re only releasing the single photo and limited information (online) at this time,” says Michael Choo, Kia global public relations manager.

The latest photo follows the release of images of the all-new Kia pro_cee’d GT and cee’d GT that will debut at the Geneva auto show in March.
