HELSINKI, July 22 (Reuters) - Finnish retail sales rose 2.7 percent year-on-year in May after rising 1.8 percent in April, boosted by surging car sales, Statistics Finland (SF) said in a statement on Monday.
In the five months to the end of May retail sales grew two percent year-on-year, SF said.
It said May wholesale sales were up 2.6 percent on the year-ago period.
