Aston Martin will add a super-luxury version of its DBX performance SUV that blends the power of its DBX S with even more refinement and technology.
Its new DBX GT claims “the ultimate in luxury and refinement” for consumers who want top-drawer comfort, while benefiting from 717 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque from its Aston Martin DBX S stablemate’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 gasoline engine.
It also shares its sibling’s 0-to-60 mph sprint time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
Beyond performance, the DBX GT gets its own suspension setup, with a damper valve system tuned to maintain body control when driving at pace.
First deliveries of the new DBX GT are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026 but Aston Martin hasn’t yet confirmed a U.S. sticker price. Yet a factory press spokesperson said in an email to WardsAuto, “Whilst we don’t confirm pricing, you are welcome to speculate at $262,000.”
Its DBX S currently retails from around $276,500 in the U.S. although the sticker price heads north of $300,000 very quickly with optional extras chosen.
Extra comfort in the new car starts with an active chassis spring rate that changes depending upon the drive mode selected, with the roll stiffness balance actively changing through corners for grip and steering response, according to Aston Martin.
The suspension’s unique damper valve system also enhances ride compliance over poor surfaces while maintaining body control when driving dynamically. It moderates high frequencies, such as coarsely textured road surfaces or rumble strips, to filter and further reduce the transmission of vibrations into the cabin.
Exterior design cues include a new double-vaned grille housing daytime running lights, a two-piece metal side strake (air diffuser) and new 22-inch forged wheels with a Satin Titanium diamond-turned finish, with the option to upgrade to the 23-inch wheels, in either aluminum or magnesium, and tire package.
At the rear are new quad exhaust finishers, set in pairs side-by-side, with tailpipes set in the lower body and diffuser.
In the cabin, front and rear seats, all with bespoke embroidery details, have been redesigned with enhanced cushioning, redefined bolstering and carefully engineered curves to balance dynamic support and everyday usability.
To enhance the seating plushness, a 10-mm thick memory foam layer has been added to the cushion structure and the cabin gets a panoramic glass roof as standard.
Aston Martin has cut cabin noise with more sound-deadening materials for the door panels, front wheel arches and cargo area, plus deep-pile carpets and laminated rear side glass.
Aston Martin claims this results in a 13% improvement in its Articulation Index — the auto industry’s score of how easy it is to hold a conversation on the move, whether chatting with passengers or making a telephone call through the Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
“DBX GT is aimed at customers who prefer assured elegance over sporting aggression and demand a higher degree of luxury,” said Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark in a company statement. “By refining the visual drama and elevating the interior with new elements of craftsmanship, the DBX GT delivers a true ultra-luxury experience; one which comes with no sacrifice in performance,” he added.
