Intermet sees 4th-quarter loss

NEW YORK, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Intermet Corp. , a maker of components for the automotive industry, on Monday forecast a fourth-quarter loss, citing the effects of lower sales, costs for new product launches and a write-off of idle assets.
