Nissan’s top-ranked ad for the week of Aug. 20 continues to promote the automaker’s Bottom Line Model Year-End Event – a spot that collected 286 million impressions.

Nissan moves from fourth to first place in iSpot.tv’s latest ranking of the most-viewed automotive commercials – the ads that have racked up the highest number of impressions across national broadcast and cable TV airings.

Nissan’s top-ranked ad for the week of Aug. 20 continues to promote the automaker’s Bottom Line Model Year-End Event – a spot that collected 286 million impressions. The spot highlights “big clearance savings,” including the opportunity to get no-interest financing for 60 months on the ’18 Altima, or a $109/month lease plus $500 bonus cash on the ’18 Sentra.

Chevrolet snags second and fourth places in the ranking this time.

At No.2 is an ad focusing on Chevy trucks and how their owners pass them down to younger generations. It says customers can get $8,500 below retail on the ’18 Silverado 1500, and qualified buyers don’t have to make monthly payments for 90 days. In the No.4 commercial, which has appeared time and again, real Chevy owners discuss the importance of dependability, and the company lets viewers know ’18 Equinox models are available for 15% below retail.

Third place goes to GMC with a spot showcasing its Denali models, which, the brand suggests, are “a badge of honor for the relentless, who never tire of striving for the best.” A voiceover by actor Will Arnett gives a cool and calm feel to the offer of up to 14% below retail on select models.

Lincoln rounds out the chart with a Summer Invitation Sales Event promo touting the final opportunity to “let your perfect drive come together” with a Labor Day special of $1,000 trade-assist cash on select vehicles.
