Company with 65 Car Dealerships Takes Anti-Coronavirus Measures

If you’re ill, “delay visiting our places of businesses,” says Steve Starks, CEO of The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies.

The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies – that includes 65 car dealerships – says it has taken steps to minimize risks of employees and customers becoming exposed to the spreading coronavirus.

That includes establishing a companywide group to monitor and address the ongoing situation.

“We have asked each of our businesses, including automotive dealerships, theater complexes, sporting and entertainment venues and our office buildings to ensure we have clean and sanitized workplaces and common areas,” says CEO Steve Starks.

“We will strive to operate effectively and ensure that our essential services continue uninterrupted.”

The company encourages its 10,000 employees and customers to observe public-health recommendations. Those include frequent hand washing, coughing and sneezing into the elbow or tissue and paying attention to signs and symptoms.

“We have asked our employees, and would extend the same invitation to our guests and customers, that if they are feeling ill, especially if they have any of the documented symptoms of the Coronavirus, that they exercise caution and delay visiting our places of businesses until they are symptom-free,” says Starks.

He adds that high-contact surfaces such as door handles, and high-use areas such as restrooms and common rooms, are being sanitized several times daily at Miller businesses.

Additional hand sanitizing dispensers have been placed at business entry points.

Signs recommending hygiene practices are posted in visible areas for greater awareness.
