Chevrolet leads iSpot.tv’s latest ranking of the most-viewed automotive commercials, the ads that have generated the highest number of impressions across national broadcast and cable TV airings.

Chevy moves into first place for the week of Aug. 24 with its energetic spot promoting the Open Roads Sales Event, during which customers can get up to 15% of MSRP cash back on select ’20 models.

Second place goes to Buick’s commercial for the Encore GX that’s available with built-in Alexa for executing hands-free commands, such as turning on house lights or getting directions. For a limited time, buyers can get GM employee pricing on most ’20 Buick SUVs.

Subaru has the third and fifth spots on the chart. The No.3 ad explains that as a part of its “love promise,” Subaru and its retailers are replanting 500,000 trees in areas that have been devastated by wildfires. The fifth-place commercial highlights the ’20 Outback and urges drivers to “go where love takes you.”

The No. 4 ad from Hyundai touts the reliability of its Tucson SUV, which has an available 360-degree surround-view monitor and has earned a J.D. Power award for initial quality. This spot has the best iSpot Attention Score in the ranking (94.29), meaning viewers were on average more likely to watch it all the way through (vs. interrupting it by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
