Lexus is introducing a hybrid variant in its LX series, the LX 700h. The 2025 LX 700h starts at $115,350 while the whole model line tops out at $141,350.
In 2024, Lexus sold 6,830 LX SUVs in the U.S., a slight decrease from the 6,959 units sold in 2023. That’s not a lot, but the global market for luxury SUVs priced from $90,000 to $125,000 is forecasted to grow at a 12% compound rate over the next decade.
Toyota’s luxury brand will be vying for that growth against Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Cadillac, Lincoln to some degree and Land Rover.
WardsAuto Podcast Host David Kiley talks with Lexus Product Manager Richard Hollingsworth about the new Lexus flagship.
