Taking Nashville Auto Auction to "next level" Manheim Auctions has named Tim DeBerry general manager of Manheim's Nashville Auto Auction. Previously, he held the same post at Manheim's Lauderdale-Miami Auto Auction.
"As we prepare to move into a new facility in Nashville, we wanted to bring in someone who could take this auction to the next level," says Darryll Ceccoli, Manheim's COO. "Tim has a proven track record for turning a strong auction into an exceptional one and he's one of the most respected people in the business."
Manheim has been in its current Nashville location since 1954. A new 265-acre facility is being built in Wilson County.
Randy Ferguson joins Mitsubishi advisory board Randy Ferguson, dealer principal of Lewisville Mitsubishi in Lewisville, TX, is elected to a two-year term on Mitsubishi's Regional Advisory Board.
In this position he will communicate ideas and concerns of his fellow southwest Mitsubishi dealers to the automaker.
Mr. Ferguson already serves on the 10-member Mitsubishi National Dealer Product Council.
Arizona women choose Childress Auto Mall Childress Auto Mall of Phoenix has been named Arizona's top auto and repair shop in the Arizona Women's Choice Awards, sponsored by Arizona Women's News. The awards are based on reader input. Childress Auto Mall consists of Buick, Kia, Suzuki, Laforza and a number of electric vehicle manufacturers, which include Lee Iacocca's EV Global, Corbin Motors, Columbia Par Car and GEM.
Hamilton Chevrolet starts mobile service Hamilton Chevrolet in Warren, MI, launched a new mobile service program, believed to be the first of its kind in Michigan.
The mobile service program comes to the customer's home or office and performs necessary maintenance or repair on the spot.
Many warranty repairs are available to mobile service customers, including most special order parts installations, interior trim and accessories and exterior trim services. Lube, oil and filter change, tune-ups, battery service and cleaning, battery replacement, safety inspection and wiper blade replacements also are part of the program.
General manager, training director named at new dealership in Georgia Tom Martin is general manager of the newly opened Wade Lincoln Mercury in Alpharetta, GA, an Atlanta suburb.
He'll oversee a staff of 30 at the dealership, the third in the Wade group. A marketing graduate of the University of Georgia, he's been with Wade 10 years.
Susan Hutto is working at the Alpharetta dealership as director of training.
She had been an automotive training consultant. She's a Georgia native who holds a B.A. degree from Auburn University, and an MBA from Georgia State University.
