China Zhongwang Holdings Group announces it will provide aluminum extrusion products to U.K. automaker Jaguar Land Rover as a Tier 1 supplier.
“This relationship is the first collaboration between the two companies, and marks the Group’s first foray into the supply chain of automakers outside China,” China Zhongwang says in a news release.
China Zhongwang is a longtime supplier of aluminum products for Chinese high-speed trains, and it is the exclusive supplier of the aluminum-intensive car body for two Chinese electric cars: Chery’s eQ1 and CH-Auto Technology’s QiantuK50.
“China Zhongwang’s advantage lies in its comprehensive R&D capabilities, capacity that covers the entire production process and thorough quality control system, which ensure its product performance meets the highest standard in the industry,” group Chairman and President Lu Changqing says.
China Zhongwang says it is the world’s second-largest developer and manufacturer of industrial aluminum extruded products and is the largest in Asia.
