Most-Seen Auto Ads All Have ‘Here to Help’ Themes

Fiat Chrysler’s ad emphasizing solidarity in the face of the coronavirus pandemic once again is iSpot.tv’s most-viewed automotive commercial, generating the highest number of impressions across national broadcast and cable TV airings.
The week of April 27 marked the third straight week FCA took first place with its spot featuring music by OneRepublic, declaring that “together, we can do this – because we are all one.” Right now, the automaker is offering zero-percent financing for 84 months with no monthly payments for 90 days on select Dodge, Jeep and Ram models.
Second place goes to Lincoln with a commercial that says “more than ever, your home is your sanctuary” – and that’s why the brand is offering the ability to purchase a new vehicle remotely from select dealers. For a “little extra help,” customers can receive no-interest financing and first-payment deferrals for up to 120 days.
Toyota owns the third- and fourth-place positions with “here to help”-themed ads. While each spot has slightly different creative, the common message is that customers can get interest-free financing and deferred payments for up to 90 days on select models.
Subaru rounds out the ranking, offering help in a different way: In response to COVID-19, the automaker is donating 50 million meals to Feeding America through its Subaru Loves to Help initiative.
