Social distancing during COVID-19 made it difficult, but Wards judges spent June evaluating and scoring 18 eligible vehicles in selecting this year's Wards 10 Best UX winners.
Now in its fifth year, the competition focuses on the user experience, a fast-growing element of vehicle development focused on how the driver interacts with the vehicle, and vice versa.
That means evaluating touchscreens, voice controls, connectivity, driver-assistance technologies and overall user friendliness. Winners are being named one a day through July 29.
There is no price cap for 10 Best UX, but value is a consideration.
